Once upon a time, an 11-year-old child became the hero of a little kitty’s life by providing her with a much-needed home. This heartwarming tale tells the story of how the child’s compassion and quick thinking saved the day.
The little cat required a temporary home, and activists for animal rights had already given a brief about the kitten. Alyssa Smith, who is the co-founder of the non-profit organization for animal rights, stated that “the young one was incredibly small. He’s probably around four weeks old, but he’s about the size of a one-week-old.”
Upon rescue, the small feline was in poor condition and was only half the size it should have been. Despite this, it was incredibly cute and cuddly. A boy and his mother, aged 11, offered to assist with foster care, unaware of how tiny the kitten was until they held it in their hands.
According to the boy’s mother, he weighed only 240 grams, half of what he was supposed to weigh, and the corners were a little rough. They named him ‘Fluffy’ after seeing how similar he looked to a mouse. The family was kind enough to give the pocket kitten a nice shower and took turns feeding him every couple of hours.
Fluffy enjoys jumping onto the human’s shoulders and purring, but it does so louder than expected for its size. According to Fluffy’s owner, Erin, the cat likes to perch on her shoulder and look around.
“When he stays awake, doesn’t show concern or eat, he perches on someone’s shoulder and feels like the master of the situation.”
After the kitten was reunited with its family, it began to receive love, attention, and caring, and finally started to gain weight.
Although he is quite small in size, he compensates for it with his lively personality. As soon as he learned how to use his four legs, he began running and jumping out of excitement.
“He just wants to run over the shoulder next to him. What else do you need besides his purr and caress?” says Erin.
“He’s a real treasure, and we believe that with time he will blossom into a stunning diamond,” the mother stated.
Erin remarks that he loves spending time with our adopted kittens and appears to enjoy taking care of them.
