With earthy-toned makeup and a collection of 8 stylish ear piercings, she completed her ensemble with a chic plaid shirt and a trusty brown bag slung over her shoulder. Standing beside her was her co-star Jonathan Bailey, hinting at the on-screen chemistry fans can expect.
Accompanied by the caption ‘A new era is born,’ Johansson’s first glimpse in the movie sent fans into a frenzy. Titled Jurassic World: Rebirth, the highly anticipated film is set to hit theaters on July 2, 2025, promising an exhilarating and action-packed ride.
Scarlett Johansson has been spotted for the very first time in the upcoming Jurassic World installment alongside Jonathan Bailey. This seventh movie in the Jurassic series is being helmed by director Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp. While talking about her new movie Fly Me To the Moon, Johansson enthusiastically confirmed her role in the Jurassic World movie to ComicBook.com.
Expressing her love for the original 1993 Jurassic Park film, Johansson shared, “I’m a huge Jurassic Park fan. It’s one of the first movies I recall watching in the cinema. I have such vivid memories of seeing it. It was a life-changing experience, absolutely mind-blowing. I can’t even put into words how thrilled I am.” The project reunites David Koepp, the original Jurassic Park screenwriter, who adapted Michael Crichton’s novel for the big screen.
Johansson praised the script, saying, “The script is just phenomenal. David Koepp penned it, returning after about three decades to work on it. He’s poured so much passion into it, and that’s just incredible.” A self-proclaimed huge fan and nerd of the franchise, Johansson couldn’t contain her excitement, stating, “I’ve been trying for over a decade to be part of this franchise in any way possible. I’m just beyond thrilled, it feels like a dream come true.”
“It was truly a transformative experience. It completely blew my mind. I am beyond thrilled and can’t put into words how ecstatic I feel,” Johansson reminisced; as witnessed in 2023.
